This petition is filed projecting extreme urgency on behalf of the petitioner, as he intends to take admission in the MBBS course pursuant to his score obtained in NEET - UG - 2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner informs this Court that the petitioner has now been called for final hearing before respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee on 29.08.2025.

The learned AGP appears on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2, and Mr. Kuprekar, learned counsel, appears for respondent No.3. 4.

The learned AGP is at pains to point out that, by order dated 02.05.2025, at the behest of the petitioner in Writ Petition No.5666/2025, the order of the Scrutiny Committee invalidating the petitioner's claim was set aside and the matter was remanded to the Scrutiny Committee for fresh adjudication

2 996.WP.10441.25.odt with permission to the petitioner to lead additional evidence. It was also directed that the Committee could resort to fresh/additional vigilance inquiry if it so considered necessary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, makes a statement that such fresh/additional vigilance inquiry has been completed. On the basis of aforesaid statement made on behalf of the petitioner, and since this Court is apprised of the fact that the proceeding before the Respondent - Scrutiny Committee is now listed for hearing on 29.08.2025, we direct respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to finally hear the proceeding pertaining to the petitioner on 29.08.2025 itself. Thereafter, respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee shall make an endeavour to dispose of the tribe claim of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, and within two weeks of having completed the final hearing, considering the urgency projected on behalf of the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of in above terms. We have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
