This is an application under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of a marriage petition filed by the respondent/husband for divorce.

It is informed by the family court that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 18.04.2022, the divorce petition which was sought to be transferred has already been disposed of by order dated 10-06-2022.

Since the marriage petition sought to be transferred has already been disposed of, the application does not survive and deserves to be disposed of.

Learned advocate Mr. C.T. Jadhav for the respondent submits that the order by which the family court disposed of the divorce petition is under challenge before this Court in writ petition No.7481 of 2022 and this matter may be tagged to that petition and kept alive.

Now that the marriage petition sought to be transferred stands disposed of, the applicant, if necessary, may have to file a separate application if at all the respondent's writ petition is allowed by this court. There is no need to tag this petition to the other one.

The application is disposed of.
