Petitioners are praying for issuance of directions to the Scrutiny Committee to accept proposal for verification of the tribe certificate issued in their favour.
Petitioners claim to be belonging to Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe and have been admitted to medical course as against the seat earmarked for Scheduled Tribe category. Petitioners need validation certificate for pursuing further studies.
wp9963.16.doc In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the Scrutiny Committee to accept the proposal of petitioners directly, if tendered within a period of one week from today and issue receipt acknowledging acceptance of the proposal. Scrutiny Committee, in observance of the procedure prescribed in law, after receipt of the proposal, shall decide the tribe certificate verification claim as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of its receipt.
