Heard the learned Advocate for the applicant. 2.
These applications are filed for condonation of delay caused in filing the first appeals by the claimant for enhancement in the amount of compensation under the Land Acquisition Act. Since the applications are filed by the claimant who lost their property in acquisition. 3.
Learned AGP vehemently opposed the application. She submits Ethape
( 2 ) 907-CA-9570-2018 that the Government will have to bear the burden of the interest and statutory benefits for the fault on the part of the claimant is not approaching in this Court in time. No sufficient reason is mentioned in the applications for condonation of delay.

However, considering the applications are filed by the claimants, this Court is inclined to allow the applications. The claimant, however, shall not be entitled to receive any statutory benefits and interest for the delayed period. The claimant should filed the undertaking within two weeks in the appeals to that effect.
