DATE : 16.01.2023 PER COURT :- Pursuant to the order dated 12.12.2022, Ms Bajpai, learned advocate for the petitioners submits that she could trace out some acknowledgments regarding submissions of the applications/claims under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act.

Ms Bajpai submits that the petitioners shall approach the respondents, point out acknowledgment in their cases and the respondents shall, thereafter, proceed to decide their claims in
(( 2 )) 20-WP-10274-2022 accordance with law expeditiously. A similar action as was indicated in that order can be taken even in respect of other persons who were not before this Court either in the earlier round of litigation or even now. The respondents shall entertain their claims if they are able to satisfy the authorities about filing of the applications having acknowledgment of the office. On such satisfaction being recorded, the respondents may proceed to decide their claims as well without driving them to approach this Court. All such decisions can be taken now. The request is innocuous Wherever the petitioners and other persons are able to produce acknowledgments, the respondent - Special Land Acquisition Officer shall pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within six months.

The writ petition is disposed of.
