This is an Appeal fled by the State against the Judgment and Award dated 06/01/2011 passed by the learned 2nd Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Beed in L.A.R. No.19/2008. 2.
It is submitted by the learned AGP appearing for the Appellants - State that, from the Judgment, it is clear that, the rate awarded by the Special Land Acquisition Offcer [for short the 'SLAO'] to the Claimants against the acquisition of the land was Rs.650/- per Are and the learned Reference Court enhanced the rate to Rs.2500/- per Are. He submits that, the enhanced compensation is within four [4] times of the compensation awarded by the SLAO. He further submits that, in view of the Government Resolution 03/11/2016 and Corrigindum dated 23/02/2017, this Appeal can be disposed off. As the Government, vide the aforesaid Government Resolution, has decided not to challenge the Award, in which, the enhancement is within four [4] times of the amount awarded by the SLAO.

The learned Advocate for the Respondent is present. He submits that, appropriate order be passed.

This Court, in several such matters, wherein, the enhanced compensation was within four [4] times of the amount awarded by the SLAO, disposed off the Appeal in the light of the aforesaid Government Resolution.
