This is an application by the applicant seeking regular bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in Crime No.243 of 2015 registered with Kotwali Police Station, District Ahmednagar for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 469, 471 read with Section34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The applicant came to be arrested on 23rd August 2015. The allegation against the applicant is that he has assured the complainant as regards procurement of country liquor (Class-III) licence in favour of the complainant. The applicant is a public servant, who is behind bars since about last month. The custodial

Cri.Appln.No.5089/2015 interrogation against the applicant is already over. In view thereof, no fruitful purpose would be served in detaining the applicant, as the applicant will not run away and as such, the applicant is admitted to bail. Hence, I proceed to pass the following order: (I) The applicant Subhash son of Babu Chaudhari be released on bail in Crime No.243 of 2015 registered with Kotwali Police Station, District Ahmednagar for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 469, 471 read with Section34 of the Indian Penal Code on executing P.R. bond of Rs.15,000/- (Rs. Fifteen thousand) with one surety in the like amount;

(II) The applicant shall keep himself away from the jurisdiction of Kotwali Police Station, Ahmednagar till fining of the charge-sheet. 4.
