The learned AGP points out, in the light of the judgment of the learned Division Bench of this Court in the matter of Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani vs. State of Maharashtra and others, Letters Patent Appeal No.55/2003 in Writ Petition No.7477/2002 (Mumbai) decided vide judgment dated 13.07.2005, that the Petitioners have a statutory remedy under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code by lodging a second revision before the State Government.

Considering the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioners to avail of the said remedy within four weeks from today. The time spent by the Petitioners in this Court from 22.08.2017 till the passing of this order would be a ground to be considered for condonation of delay, if any.
