This petition has been filed for a limited purpose seeking direction that the caste claim of the petitioner of belonging to KoliMahadev Scheduled Tribe is pending with respondent no.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee may be expedited.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the vigilance cell inquiry has been completed and the report is to be submitted to the respondent no.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee. 3.

Learned AGP submits that the respondent no.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee will decide the matter within a period of two months from the date on which the petitioner would submit his reply to the vigilance cell report.
