Under order dated 15th March, 2023, the learned Government Pleader had submitted that the name of the petitioner would be considered while preparing the new panel after 31st March, 2023, subject to his eligibility. However today, the learned Government Pleader produced on record the communication dated 06.04.2023 along with the letter dated 31st March, 2023, whereby it is undertaken to continue the existing panel till 30.06.2023 since the process of

{2} cp712.22.odt preparing new panel is still going on. However, it seems that there may be further extension to the existing panel in future since it is not certain that the new panel would be prepared on 01st July, 2023.

In view of the same, Respondents No.1 and 2 are directed to take the name of petitioner on the existing panel of Certified Auditors within two weeks and it would be continued till the new panel is prepared. The earlier statement of the learned Government Pleader, as refected from the order dated 15th March, 2023, would continue in case the new panel is prepared. Since the name of the petitioner is directed to be taken on the panel and the assurance is also given for considering his name in future while preparing the new panel, subject to his eligibility, there is no need to continue this Contempt Petition.
