Petitioner claims to belong to Mannerwarlu, a Scheduled Tribe and has been admitted to B.E. (Electrical) Course in Respondent No.3-College as against a seat reserved for Scheduled Tribe category. As a result of failure of the petitioner to submit validity certificate, Respondent-University has not declared result of the petitioner in respect of final year examination. In the facts of this case, Respondent-University needs to be directed to declare result of the petitioner forthwith; and it is accordingly directed. Respondent-University shall also issue degree certificate and marks sheet depending upon outcome of the result of the examination.

Respondent No.1-Scrutiny Committee shall take decision on

{2} wp956015.odt the tribe certificate verification proposal of the petitioner pending with the Committee, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight months from today. Petitioner shall not be entitled to claim benefits of Scheduled Tribe unless Respondent No.1-Committee issues validity certificate in her favour. With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of. In view of disposal of writ petition, pending Civil Applications do not survive and stand disposed of.
