The Petitioner has put-forth prayer clause 'B', as under:- "B) The respondent no.2 Sub Divisional Officer may kindly be directed to correct the nomenclature of the Tribe in the Tribe Certificate of the petitioner as Koli Mahadev instead of Mahadev Koli, and issue such corrected Tribe Certificate to the petitioner having proper nomenclature as Koli Mahadev Tribe, as early as possible."

He relies upon the Government Resolution dated 22.06.2016, which prescribes that if the Scrutiny Committee notices that a caste or tribe

2 wp 10094.2022 certificate is not in format, the same has to be corrected and for the said purpose the competent authority would receive the defective certificate from the beneficiary and replace it with a certificate which is in proper format.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that he has already tendered an online application on 23.06.2022 and, as such, a fresh certificate for Koli Mahadev (29) instead of Mahadev Koli, be issued to the Petitioner.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off.

The Sub-Divisional Officer would issue the Koli Mahadev (29) certificate to the Petitioner, on or before 14.10.2022.
