We have heard the learned Advocate Mr. N. D. Sonavane for the petitioner and the learned Advocate Mr. A. B. Kadethankar on behalf of respondent No.2. The learned AGP appears on behalf of respondent Nos.1, 3 and 4.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks to challenge the rotation of reservation of seats for the elections to be held for the Grampanchayat Chambhurdi Tq. Shrigonda Dist. Ahmednagar, for the period 2020-2025. 3.

On 29-11-2019, respondent No.2 proposed it's reservation for ward formation. On 07-02-2020, the draft ward formation was declared and

WP 9073-2020 objections were called up to 14-02-2020. The petitioner has not raised any objections until 04-11-2020. Objections were entered beyond the prescribed limitation and belatedly by about nine months. The election program has already been declared on 11-12-2020 and the polling is scheduled on 15-01-2021.

In the light of the above and as the petitioner has not raised objections to the draft ward formation within the prescribed limitation, we find that this is not a fit case to exercise our extra ordinary jurisdiction.

This petition is, therefore, dismissed. Needless to state, in the event the petitioner has any legal remedy permissible in law, he would be at liberty to avail of such remedy.
