Mr. Salgare, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was appointed in the year 2010. The proposal was submitted by the Head Master of the school to the respondent No. 4/Education Officer. Because of some difficulties, the proposal was submitted late. However, the same is not yet decided, though it is pending for more than one and half year. 3.

The learned Additional Government Pleader states that, in case said proposal is pending, the same would be decided in accordance with law.

Considering the above, we pass following order.

The respondent No. 4/Education Officer shall take decision on the proposal submitted to him in respect of the petitioner seeking approval to his appointment, in case the same is pending on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from today.
