PER COURT:- 1.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has moved under Section 55-A and 55-B of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 (hereinafter referred to as 'Act, 1965') against the President of Municipal Council, Parola in July 2018, however, the same is not yet considered and decided.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for both the respondents and submits that, within the reasonable period respondent no.2 would decide the matter.

In case, the application is filed by the petitioner under Section 55-A and 55-B of the Act,

(2) 13-wp-13365-2021 1965 (Page No.14) and the same is pending with respondent no.2 and if respondent no.2 is competent to decide it, then the same shall be decided by respondent no.2 on its own merits, in accordance with law, after following the procedure and hearing all parties concerned, preferably within a period of six (06) months from today.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
