Since we have considered an innocuous request being made by the petitioner, we have not issued notice to respondent Nos.2 to 4.

The petitioner is a 73 years old senior citizen. The only request made before this Court is, that an application 'Exhibit 61', filed by him in person on 24/01/2022, is pending in Regular Civil Suit No.53/2017 and the same could be decided early. He also makes a request on the ground of being a senior citizen, that the learned Trial Court may taking up the suit for an early hearing.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 4.

We request the learned Trial Court, dealing with Regular Civil Suit No.53/2017 to endeavour to decide 'Exhibit 61', filed on 24/01/2022, on it's own merits, as expeditiously as possible and preferably, on or before 30/12/2022. We grant liberty to the petitioner to make a request to the learned Trial Court, to consider the suit being decided expeditiously in view of his status of being a senior citizen.
