Present application has been filed by the original claimants for condonation of delay in filing first appeal. They want to challenge the judgment and award passed by the learned reference Court. Learned AGP as well as learned Advocate for the acquiring body has strong objection on the ground that the delay is inordinate and not properly explained. 2.

Taking into consideration the fact that the lands of the applicants were acquired and they are coming from rural area, liberal approach is taken, delay stands condoned.

Civil Application stands allowed and disposed of accordingly. 4.

It is clarified that the applicants will not be entitled to get interest for the period of delay in case of success to their appeal. 5.
