PER COURT :- Rule 6, sub-rule 7 of the Maharashtra Local Authority Members Disqualification Rules, 1987 prescribes that the proceedings presented under the Act shall be disposed of within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of application. Aforesaid period has already come to an end. However, considering the facts of the instant case, we direct respondent No.3 to dispose of pending proceedings presented by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 90 days from today and it is accordingly direct ed.

Petition is disposed of.
