In view of the fact that there is direct evidence in the form of the eye-witness account, corroborated by CCTV footage, and further supported by the recovery of blood-stained clothes and a blood-stained knife at the instance of the Applicant, and also considering that the trial has already commenced, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the Applicant. The application therefore stands rejected.

The trial Court shall make an endeavour to complete the trial expeditiously as early as possible.

The application for assisting the prosecution is also disposed of accordingly.
