This matter is taken on the production board as it is informed that the parties have amicably settled the dispute.

The compromise deed dated 06.05.2022 (5 pages) is placed before us. The same is marked as "X-1" for identification.

In view of the joint statement of the learned advocates for the parties and in the light of "X-1", this petition is disposed off.

Both the Advocates inform that no financial burden, directly or indirectly, is cast upon the State

13325.21WP Government by this compromise terms as the claims are restricted only to the extent of 20% grants available. 5.

Considering the contents of paragraphs 3 and 4 of the "X-1" (page 2), we make it clear that any claims, that would be forwarded to the Education Department, would be considered by the said Department on their merits and in the event, any amount is not admissible, Education Department is at liberty to pass appropriate orders since the compromise terms would not bind the State in so far as monetary benefits are concerned.
