The petitioner voluntarily sought retirement from service and was accordingly relieved on 1.12.2020. Subsequently, on 6.7.2021, the petitioner filed an application for reinstatement. The management held a meeting on 1.8.2021 and passed a resolution on 2.8.2021, suggesting that the petitioner be reinstated in service. The proposal forwarded to the Joint Director of Higher Education, Jalgaon is pending decision.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 3.

Let respondent No.2 deal with the said proposal on it's own merits and provided the law permits any person, who has opted for voluntarily retirement and has been relieved from service, to be reinstated, that too, after a passage of almost 22 months.
