Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader as also the learned advocate for the respondent No. 2/University.

The affiliation granted to the petitioner No.1/society and even the permission granted by the Government have been put on hold. Apparently, the reason was that some management had filed Writ Petition No. 4661 of 2023, wherein this Court had directed status quo to be maintained. The issue was regarding violation of the perspective plan.

It is now being pointed out that the Writ Petition No. 4661 of 2023 has subsequently been withdrawn by the petitioner therein and stands disposed of by the order dated 31 August 2023. Even the interim order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 4661 of 2023 was the genesis for the impugned action. Since the interim order would now merge with the final disposal of the writ petition, it would be imperative for the respondents to reconsider everything.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to examine the aforementioned aspects and take a fresh decision as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of two (02) weeks from today.
