The petitioner is seeking compensation/damages on the ground of libel.

Computation of compensation would not be possible in the writ jurisdiction. The evidence will have to be led to prove the facts. We cannot, in writ petition, accept the fact at its face value without the evidence being led.

In light of that we are not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

The petitioner may take up proceeding before the Civil Court or such other proceedings as may be permissible in law. In that case all contentions of the parties are kept open. 4.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. No costs.
