This matter was pending for compliance with the procedural rules and particularly because the respondent no.5 could not be served a direction was sought so as to enable him to serve by substituted mode. 2.

When such a petition was placed before us, we perused it carefully for its worth. All that the petition prays is that the Appellate Authority under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949 should decide the petitioner's appeal against the suspension of a liquor licence. 3.

We had posted this matter to enable Shri Kale, the learned A.G.P. to take instructions.

On instructions, Mr. Kale the learned A.G.P. states that on Wednesday 02.08.2017, the Appellate Authority will grant a personal hearing to the petitioner. The appellate authority will pass a reasoned order disposing of the appeal as expeditiously as possible and within a period of four weeks from the conclusion of the hearing.
