The contention is that the compromise is entered into in the Lok Adalat. The petitioners had filed reference for enhancement of compensation. The parties have settled the matter in Lok Adalat. The grievance of the petitioners is that though the consent award is passed in Lok Adalat on 08.12.2018, the amount of compensation is not yet paid. 3.

In cases of consent award, the authorities are required to pay the compensation amount immediately.

In case, the consent award (page no. 49) is in force, then the respondents shall pay the amount of compensation as per the consent award

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
