The Petitioners have put forth prayer clause (B) as under:- "[B] By issuing appropriate writ, orders or directions in the like nature, the respondent no.1 may please be directed to decide the objection dated 26.08.2024 submitted by the petitioners objecting the draft Notification dated 06.08.2024 by which the respondent no.1 proposed to make amendment in the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services Recruitment Rules, 1967 regarding promotions of Cluster Head (Kendrapramukh) by giving opportunity of hearing."

Heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioners and the learned AGP.

We are not inclined to invoke our Writ jurisdiction in this matter, wherein, the Petitioners have lodged their objections and apprehend that the State Government may not follow the mandate of law in deciding the objections. It is a well settled proposition of law, which need not be reiterated that, the actions of the State will have to conform with the legal provisions.

Since the learned AGP submits that the objections tendered by the Petitioners would be considered, this Writ Petition is disposed off, being filed prematurely.
