1] We cannot encourage such petition filed belatedly and at the eleventh hour. The petitioner had obtained caste certificate in the year 2014 and his validity proposal was submitted only in the month of December, 2020. The present petition is filed on 14th October, 2020 and is circulated under circulation note dated 22nd November, 2021. The directions are sought against the Committee to decide it expeditiously.

2] The petitioner ought to have approached the Court earlier. The proposal ought to have been filed before the Committee at earlier point of time. In such matter, we cannot issue positive directions to the Committee to decide the proposal within stipulated time.

12930.21WP 3] However, considering that the petitioner is exploring possibility of admission to professional course. The Committee may, if it is possible for it, endeavour to decide the proposal expeditiously. The petitioner may appear before the Committee on 29.11.2021.

4] The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
