Present petition has been filed challenging the order dated 26.06.2025 passed by respondent No.3 rejecting the prayer for grant of arrears of financial assistance @ Rs.10,000/- per month as per Government Resolution dated 03.07.2018 and also the consequential prayer for payment of arrears of the financial assistance from 02.01.2018 to 31.07.2022. Heard learned Advocate Mrs. Rani Bharuka - Bora holding for learned Advocate Mr. S.S. Bora for petitioner and learned AGP Mr. R.S. Wani for respondent Nos.1 to 4. Perused the affidavit-in-reply filed by Rangrao

902_WP_12566_2025 Kishanrao Mendke, Tahsildar (Revenue), office of District Collector, Jalna. It appears that taking into consideration the observations of this Court in Writ Petition No.4506 of 2024 and also the pendency of this petition Committee had taken meeting and it has been then stated that the husband of petitioner has been granted the remuneration/honorarium of Rs.10,000/- per month from 01.08.2022 till his death and thereafter to the petitioner, who is his widow, @ Rs.5,000/- per month from 21.06.2024.

Thus, the decision has been taken by the Committee and now, upon instructions from the respondents, learned AGP making a statement that the proposal in respect of same would be forwarded to Government for release of arrears within three days from today and thereafter it might take three months period for clearance of entire amount of arrears. The said statement is now taken as undertaking. Respondent No.3 would forward the proposal in view of meeting of the Committee that was held on 03.11.2025 within a period of three days from today and the arrears be paid to petitioner within a period of four months from today. In case of failure then the respondent would be liable to pay interest. Petition stands disposed of. ( HITEN S. VENEGAVKAR, J. ) ( SMT. VIBHA KANKANWADI, J.
