By this application, applicant-wife seeks transfer of divorce proceeding instituted by husband vide Regular Civil Suit No.49/2023 pending before Joint Civil Judge Junior Division, Shahada, District Nandurbar to Civil Judge Junior Division at Rahuri, District Ahmednagar.

It appears that, applicant is residing at Rahuri (Bk.), District, Ahmednagar. The respondent-husband instituted proceeding for divorce before Civil Judge Junior Division at Shahada. The distance between place of residence of applicant and Court at Shahada is almost 280 kilometers. Considering that the applicant is a lady, it would cause inconvenience to her to attend the Court proceedings at Shahada.

In that view of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to allow application. It is accordingly, allowed in terms of prayer Clause (A).
