Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner. 2.

He submits that the petitioner got the admission for the engineering course based on his performance against a reserved seat. However, on his failure to furnish the certificate of validity, the admission has been cancelled. The matter is pending with the Scrutiny Committee in respect of his proposal for certificate of validation and till the time, he is seeking provisional admission. 3.

When the petitioner is seeking to secure his admission against reserved category seat, he must possess a certificate of validity. Even if he is not to be blamed for the fact that the Scrutiny Committee has still not decided the proposal, this Court in exercise of powers under

Article 226 of the Constitution of India, cannot secure his admission against the reserved seat.

Writ Petition is dismissed.
