Applicant mother-in-law is implicated in the offence punishable under Sections 304-B, 498-A, 323, 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, at the instance of mother of deceased daughter-in-law. Marriage of daughter-in-law Surekha was solemnized with son of the applicant Kishor five years back in the year 2016. It is the case of prosecution that applicant and her son were ill-treating deceased on account of bringing money from her parental house. Due to ill-treatment daughter-in-law Surekha committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance on 12/08/2022 and she expired on 14/08/2022.

Son of the applicant Kishor was arrested and is released on bail.

Perusal of investigation papers revel that investigation is almost complete and general and vague allegations are leveled against applicant. No useful purpose would be served by custodial interrogation of applicant as nothing is to be recovered from her. 4.
Application is, therefore, allowed. In the event of arrest of applicant in connection with Crime No.273/2022, registered with Pachod Police Station, Paithan, District Aurangabad, for offences punishable under Sections 304-B, 498-A, 323, 504 read with 34 of IPC, applicant shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. bond and surety bond of Rs.15,000/-, with one surety in the like amount. Till filing of charge-sheet, applicant shall attend concerned police station as and when called by investigating officer and shall not influence prosecution witnesses.
