The contention of petitioners is that, though the possession of the lands of petitioners are taken by respondents, the acquisition proceedings are not initiated.

Mr. Vibhute, learned counsel for Acquiring Body submits that, within a period of three months the proposal would be submitted for acquisition to respondent no.2.

As undertaken, the respondent-Acquiring Body shall submit the proposal within a period of three months for acquisition of the petitioners lands to respondent no.2. The respondent no.2 and/ or the competent authority shall take further steps for acquisition of the said property as per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and the same shall be completed within the time stipulated under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
