This contempt petition claims non compliance of the order dated 01.07.2015 passed in Writ Petition No. 2047 of 2014, by which it was directed to the respondent-Corporation to initiate proceedings for acquisition of land and declare the award as expeditiously as possible and preferably within one year from the date of the order. 2.

Learned advocate for the Corporation has placed on record copy of the order dated 09.12.2024 passed by the Apex Court in Civil Appeal No. 14118 of 2024 arising out of Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. 29650 of 2024, thereby pointing out that directions issued by this Court are set aside by the Apex Court.
