Having regard to the provisions of Section 3H of the National Highways Act, 1956, we are of the view that petition at the behest of the competent authorities who has passed the impugned award is not maintainable. The issue is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No.1883 of 2018 with connected writ petitions decided on 08.11.2019. 2.

In view thereof, the petition stands disposed of. However, it will be open for the acquiring body to question the award, if so desires.
