Petitioner claims to belong to 'Mannewar', a Scheduled Tribe and proposal in respect of verification of tribe certificate, forwarded by her employer, is pending with Respondent No.2Committee. Learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.2Scrutiny Committee, on instructions, states that the proposal for verification of tribe certificate issued in favour of the petitioner, pending with the Scrutiny Committee, would be decided as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from today.

Statement made on behalf of Respondent No.2Scrutiny Committee is accepted and Respondent No.2-Committee is directed to decide the proposal in respect of verification of tribe certificate issued in favour of petitioner within time stipulated above. The employer is directed not to take any adverse action against the petitioner until disposal of claim for verification of tribe certificate and subject thereto.

With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
