The applicants seek to condone the delay of 54 days caused in filing the appeal against the award passed by the Tribunal under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. 2.

Heard Mr Shaikh, learned advocate appearing for the applicants and Mr. Kulkarni, learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.1.

Having considered the submissions and grounds for condonation of delay as stated in paragraph nos.2 to 4 of the application, sufficient cause is made out to condone the delay. Hence, civil application is allowed. Delay of 54 days caused in filing the appeal is condoned. Civil application stands disposed off.

First Appeal be registered. On registration of the appeal, issue notice to the Respondents. Mr. Kulkarni learned advocate waives notice for respondent no.1. Notice of respondent no.2 is made returnable on 20.6.2024.
