The present petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction to respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide tribe claim of the petitioner as belonging to Scheduled Tribe "Mannervarlu" in an expeditious manner.

The learned AGP appears for both the respondents and he submits, on instructions, that vigilance cell enquiry is still being conducted.

3.

Considering the stage of proceedings, we direct the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within eight weeks from today.
