The applicants seek to condone the delay of 495 days caused in filing the appeal against the award passed by the Reference Court under the Land Acquisition Act.

The perusal of the reasons as stated in the application, it is apparent that the delay is occasion on account of administrative reasons. Although respondent no.1 is served, none appears. The averments made in the application is not controverted by filing reply. Hence, the case is made out to condone the delay. The application is allowed.
