Shri Girase, learned advocate appearing on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3 submits, on instructions, that considering the order dated 30 th April, 2015, at page No. 51 of the petition paper book, the impugned orders dated 26/08/2017 and 28/08/2017, will be withdrawn by the University. He has received specific instructions from the learned Vice Chancellor and based on the same, the said statement is being made.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, submits that pursuant to the withdrawal of the impugned orders, he would be eligible for contesting the elections as his nomination paper would stand accepted. He, therefore, prays for leave to withdraw this petition.

Considering the above and since the grievance of the petitioner is redressed, this petition is disposed of as withdrawn. 4.
