The applicant charge-sheeted in Crime No.I-71/2015, registered at Supa Police Station, Taluka Parner, District Ahmednagar, for offence punishable under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code. The case of the prosecution against the applicant is that while working as the Secretary of Village Panchayat, the applicant has committed default of Rs.5,87,861/-.

The investigation in the matter is already completed and the charge-sheet is filed. Looking to the nature of accusations against the present applicant and the fact that the investigation in the matter is complete, and as the applicant being a public servant, there is no likelihood to run away from the process of law, the applicant deserves protection.

The applicant Bharat son of Mahadeo Sonkamble be released on bail in connection with Crime No.I-71/2014 registered at Supa Police Station, Taluka Parner, District Ahmednagar, for offence punishable under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code, upon furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rs.Twenty five thousand) with one surety in the like amount.
