The petitioners are claiming intra-district transfers on the ground of couple convenience i.e. they should be posted within a distance of 30 kms. of the place of posting of their spouse. 2.
We have hear learned counsel for respective parties. 3.
Mr Sonawane, learned counsel for respondents No. 2 and 3 submits that, Zilla Parishads have already sought guidance from the Government with regard to the transfer policy on the ground of couple convenience.

It is expected that, respondent No. 1 shall communicate to the respective Zilla Parishads, expeditiously, preferably within eight weeks from today and thereafter Zilla Parishad shall take decision upon it at the time of ensuing general transfers. 5.
