Petitioner who was studying in respondent no. 3 - School was subsequently admitted in respondent no. 4 / Junior College and then completed D.ed. from respondent no. 5. Though his date of birth in the first School was recorded correctly in the school register as 07 March 1989, it issued a school leaving certificate with incorrect date of birth as 07.03.1991. The Headmaster of respondent no. 3 / School, subsequently issued a corrigendum. Latter on, even in the school leaving certificate issued by the respondent no. 4 / Junior College, the

error perpetuated in issuing the school leaving certificate with the incorrect date of birth as 07.03.1991. After receipt of the corrigendum issued by the respondent no. 3 / School even the respondent no. 4 / Junior College issued a similar corrigendum. However, the school leaving certificate issued by the respondent no. 5 is not being accepted by the petitioner's employer even in the light of the corrigenda issued by respondent nos. 3 and 4.

When admittedly, the school leaving certificates have been issued incompatible with the original school record mentioning incorrect date of birth and even incorrect father's name when it should have been Vitthal, it has been mentioned as Vitthalrao, we dispose of the writ petition directing respondent no. 4 to issue a fresh school leaving certificate in the prescribed format with corrected date of birth and corrected name.

Since last Institute in which the petitioner studied is the respondent no. 5, even it is directed to carry out consequential corrections and issue a fresh school leaving certificate in prescribed format with corrected name and corrected date of birth within a period of two weeks.
