1) Heard. The petitioners are praying for issuance of directions to delete the names of the voters, who according to the petitioners, are not eligible to participate in the process of election. The persons, whose names are sought to be deleted, are not impleaded as parties/respondents in the present petition and as such, the request made by the petitioners, seeking deletion of the names of the voters, cannot be considered in their absence. Apart from this, the programme of election has reached at an advanced stage and the date prescribed for recording of votes is scheduled on 16th October, 2015.
