The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents for issuance of a certificate in favour of his grandson as Project Affected Person, within a period of four weeks. He places on record a copy of the decision in the case of Namdeo Tukaram Kuttarwade (Dahiphale) Vs. State of Maharashtra and anr., 2007 SCC OnLine Bom 499, wherein, the order of issuance of such certificate has been passed.

Learned AGP fairly submitted that the issue in the present petition is covered by the aforesaid decision.

In view of the above, the impugned communication dated 29.01.2024, issued by respondent no.2, rejecting prayer for issuance of certificate as Project Affected Person, is hereby set aside; and the Writ Petition stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (B) and disposed of.
