We have heard Mr.Kanade, advocate for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader. 2.

The petitioner is seeking directions to the Collector to decide his application (page 16) for disqualification of respondent no.4 on the ground that the forged caste certificate has been submitted. The Committee is seized with the matter. The Scrutiny Committee would take decision upon the same. The learned counsel submits that respondent no.4 has not submitted the validity certificate within one year and as such stands disqualified.

The petitioner may file an application to that effect with the Competent Authority and

324.22WP.odt after receipt of the said application, the Competent Authority shall decide the said application on its own merits and in accordance with law and after hearing all the parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within three months from the date of application.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
