Learned Counsel for Respondent-Committee, on instructions, states that the proposal for verification of tribe certificate in respect of the petitioner, pending with the Scrutiny Committee, would be decided within a period of One year from today.

Statement is accepted. In view of the statement made, Respondent-Scrutiny Committee is directed to take decision on the proposal for verification of tribe certificate issued in favour of the petitioner, pending with the Committee, within time stipulated above.

Petitioner has already been admitted to M.B.B.S.

He shall be entitled to prosecute further studies and shall be permitted to appear for examination/s subject to decision of the Committee in respect of verification of tribe certificate of the petitioner and until such decision, no coercive action shall be taken against him.

In view of the directions issued as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
