According to the petitioner, his proposal for start of 6th to 8th std. is pending with the Director of Education (Primary). The learned Counsel submits that the Director of Education (Primary) has further forwarded the said proposal to the State Government. The State Government in the year 2016 only granted permission for 5th Std. and it has not considered the proposal for 6th to 8th Std. 2.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 5.

In case the proposal is still pending with the State Government for grant of 6th to 8th Std. to the petitioner, then the State Government shall take decision upon it on its own merits in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
