The petitioner's proposal is pending with the respondent no. 2 - Scrutiny Committee, for validation.

Learned Advocate Mr. Vibhute, for the petitioner submits that the proposal of petitioner's father is also pending with the Scrutiny Committee. A vigilance has been conducted therein. Father has filed a reply to that report and father's matter has been closed for passing final order. He submits that the petitioner being the son has moved an application to the Committee on 17 August 2023, requesting for deciding his matter together with his father's matter. He submits that it has been expressly informed to the Committee that the petitioner is adopting the report of the vigilance as well as the reply filed by his father.

We cannot comprehend the situation or the reason why the proposals of father and son should be decided separately and not together.

We dispose of the Writ Petition by directing the respondent no. 2 - Scrutiny Committee, to take into consideration the petitioner's stand and the request made by him vide application dated 17 August 2023, and if there are no special and exceptional reasons it shall decide the petitioner's proposal with that of his father.
