It is submitted that validation proceedings in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee since the year 2014. The petitioner is prosecuting studies in the Ist year BDS course.

We have heard learned Additional

2 W.P.No.10773/17 Government Pleader for the State.

It is stated that the validation proceedings are pending at the stage of vigilance.

Considering above, we pass the following order :

a) The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings expeditiously, preferably within six (6) months. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 1.2.2018.

b) It is stated that the result of the petitioner's Ist year BDS examination is already declared. If the petitioner is otherwise found eligible then she shall be allowed to prosecute studies for the next year.

c) The Writ Petition is accordingly
