The learned A.P.P. submits that delay of 165 days has occurred in filing the criminal application No. 5286/2013 for grant of leave to file appeal, as the proposal was sent to the Law and Judiciary Department for opinion. After scrutiny, the matter was relegated to the Public Prosecutor. Thereafter, the draft was prepared and hence, the delay has occurred.

In my view, sufficient and reasonable case is made out for condonation of delay. The delay is therefore condoned. The application accordingly stands

Criminal Application No. 5286/2013 be fixed for hearing on 9th July, 2015.
